| THE MUSIC |
Here's an instrumental sound clip from previously recorded songs. |
| THE BAND |
We're three individuals who like writing and recording original music. We've studied at Peabody Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. On weekends you'll find us watching a few Blu-rays or humming a tune in odd-time. |
| THE GUY WE'RE LOOKING FOR |
We're looking for someone with a great voice who's available to record vocals (age doesn't matter). Sure, a full-time member would be nice, but we would also be open to working with someone on a project-by-project basis. Here are some important traits.
- An expressive delivery style with a good ear for dynamics
- Tenor range of approximately 2+ octaves
- Solid sense of pitch (without relying on lots of autotuning)
- Ideally some formal training (Voice Lessons, Coaching, etc)
- Knowledge of music theory is nice but not essential
We're fans of Bruce Dickinson, James LaBrie, Geoff Tate, Dave Draiman and Russell Allen. We hope you like them too.

| THE RECORDING PROCESS |
We're looking everywhere, so don't worry if you don't live close to us. Vocals can be recorded at a studio near you. Who knows, maybe we'll bring you to us to record. We've worked with people "from a distance" before.
The point is, you don't need to relocate your life - we just want a killer vocalist to be a part of where Concrete Prophet is going. All music, lyrics and melodies are written for our current set of songs, so all we need is a singer. |
| THE NEXT STEP |
Email us at ConcreteProphet@gmail.com. Tell us your influences, experiences, interests, favorite bands, etc. Feel free to include sound clips of your singing. We're not picky about the recording quality at this point, so send us anything (MP3s, YouTube, basement recording, MySpace, etc.) |
